Meet Joshua H. Pannell

Joshua H. Pannell brings more than 23 years of insurance industry experience to his role as an insurance content contributor and expert reviewer for Quote My Policy.

A Clemson University graduate, Joshua began his insurance career working with a family member at State Farm before joining Select Insurance, LLC, in 2006. Today, he serves as an Agent Owner, bringing extensive experience in both personal and commercial insurance.

Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life, Accident & Health insurance, Joshua works across a broad range of insurance products, with a particular interest in helping small business owners understand their coverage needs. He enjoys guiding entrepreneurs through the insurance considerations that come with starting and growing a business.

Joshua believes insurance education should be straightforward and practical. His approach emphasizes clear communication, asking the right questions, and helping consumers understand the value and limitations of different coverage options.

Outside of his professional life, Joshua enjoys cooking, college football, and spending time on the lake with family and friends in Anderson, South Carolina.
