What this doesn’t tell you
If you already get Social Security or Railroad Retirement Board benefits, you’ll usually be enrolled in Parts A and B automatically, starting the first day of the month you turn 65. If you’re still working and covered by a large employer’s group plan, you may be able to delay Part B and sign up later during a Special Enrollment Period without a penalty.
